Krishnagar Government College

The Department of Physiology, Krishnagar Government College, was established in the year 1988. The department initially offered Physiology as a General subject. However, UG Honours programme in Physiology was introduced in 1998. In 2018, following UGC directives, the department rolled out the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), offering Honours and General courses for undergraduate students. However, from the 2023-24 session onwards, the department shall be offering undergraduate Major and Minor courses in Physiology, following the regulations laid down by the University of Kalyani, in compliance with the NEP 2020.
